Kirk and Bills Joiners and Contractors was founded in 1965 by Richard Kirk and Michael Bills. Based in Newark, Nottinghamshire, our business specialises in restorations and repairs in addition to new installations and replacements.

We have built a reputation for quality workmanship on historic buildings as well as new structures. Our craftspeople work to English Heritage guidelines, and all hold English Heritage skills cards. It’s this shared expertise in historic buildings together with our ability to work in a variety of timbers which allows us to create bespoke windows and doors in a way that is sensitive to the age of the property and the original materials.

As well as bespoke commissions on buildings old and new, we also handle the day-to-day maintenance of local buildings and all aspects of site joinery. This includes fitting custom kitchens, hanging doors, skirting, stud work and wood flooring.
